Gone Fishing

Bella is fishing for some dragon flies.Marcus and Zachery are picking what bait they want Dad to put on their fishing poles.
This is what I got to look at while they were fishing and working on the poles. Poor Me!
Dad showing the boys how to put bait on.
Marcus is fishing. It took him a few times to learn how to cast the rod, but he got the hang of it quickly.
Zachery fishing. It took him a little longer to figure out how to cast.
They are sitting waiting for the fish. Guess how long they say there?? Not long!!
Zachery having a good time.
We were fishing for about 1 1/2 hours and didn't catch anything but we had a great afternoon spending time together as a family. After this we took Bella home and went to Golden Coral for dinner. Mark and I had worked in the yard from 11-3 and we were tired and did not want to cook. The days of me doing the yard work in two hours are long gone! Tomorrow is tree trimming day.

Job Update #1 and fishing plans

Mark went to three places yesterday to fill out apps. Two he was able to and the other one he has to go back to this morning. He has an appointment with the staffing agency on Monday at 10:00. I know a job is out there for him...

Today when Mark gets back we are going to take the boys and Bella back to the park to do some fishing. Fishing is free for the kids so we will be doing a lot of it. Our neighbor said he would take Mark and the boys out on his boat the next time he goes to the lake. Cant wait for that. Marcus is going to use his Target gift card (from his b-day) to buy some fishing bait and hooks. He is excited and so is Zachery. Look back later this afternoon for more pics!

Look what we found!

We were all bored at the house and the kids were driving me crazy so Mark took us for a drive and we found this lake/park. It is beautiful and is less than 7 miles from our house. The kids played basketball, played on the junglegym and then we walked to the docks and played in the water. Even Bella had a awesome time. We found out that she is a water dog and could not get enough of the water. Mark was skipping rocks of the end of the dock and Bella jumped in after the rocks! She was so scared, Mark had to pull her out by her collar. After that she kept jumping in the water and trying to catch dragon flies. If we would have let the boys in they would never have gotten out! The water was warm like bath water, you wont get that in Cali! The boys are so excited because we told them that we would take them to Taget to get some bait and go fishing the morning. They cant wait! More to come....

Off to look for work

Look at my HOT man getting ready to go look for work!! This morning we went online and applied at a few companies and now he is off to an apartment complex and then to the staffing agency we registered with in Jan. Please say a prayer for him as he gets very nervous during interviews. I know God has a perfect job waiting for him, now we just have to find it. I will keep you posted.
